Weather Updates: Unseasonal rain likely again in Maharashtra; Weather forecast

The mountain ranges of North India, including the Himalayas, are experiencing heavy snowfall and this is having a major impact on the climate of Maharashtra. Due to this, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain with strong winds in many districts of the state in the next five days. Wind speed will be 30 to 40 km per hour and unseasonal rain with lightning is likely, adding to farmers’ worries. Nandurbar, Nashik, Paladhar, Sindhudurg, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Pune, Jalna, Ahmednagar districts of the state experienced unseasonal rain last week. Due to which there has been a huge loss of agricultural crops. It included wheat, chickpeas and chickpeas.
