The Regional Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada from March 13. Rain is expected in the state till March 17. Rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some places. These rains are likely due to the formation of a low pressure area from Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh and moisture drawn in from the Arabian Sea. Meanwhile, rain is likely in Pune district and Nandbar and Dhule districts of North Maharashtra will remain cloudy between March 13 and 15.
