Rise in Inflation: Unseasonal rains cause huge increase in prices of fruits including leafy vegetables, a shock to the common man.

Increase in prices of vegetables in Pune Many districts of western Maharashtra including Marathwada, Vidarbha, Konkan have come under the grip of unseasonal rain. This has caused a lot of damage to agricultural crops including leafy vegetables and orchards. So now its effect has been seen on the prices of agricultural products. It has been reported that there has been a huge increase in the prices of vegetables and fruits in Pune’s Gultekadi market. Due to this, the common man, who is already suffering from inflation, has received a big blow. It has been reported that the prices of peas, dodka, bitter gourd, green chillies, gheeura, peas and curry have increased significantly.

The prices of vegetables like tomato, okra, guar, green chilli, cauliflower, cabbage, bell pepper, pumpkin, fenugreek, onion and potato have gone up in Pune’s Gultekadi market. While the price of shepu, chakwat, pudina and flax has come down significantly. Due to unseasonal rains, the arrival of vegetables in the markets has reduced since last week. The prices of chura, guava and chavlai have remained stable, while the prices of coriander joori have increased. So the common man, who is already suffering due to increase in fuel and gas prices, is going to get a big shock due to increase in vegetable prices.

Due to unseasonal rain, the gardens of the state have suffered a lot. Due to this decrease in arrival, the prices of Kalingar, melon, papaya and orange have increased significantly in the Gultekadi market. Prices of chickpeas and pomegranates are stable, while prices of mangoes, guavas, pineapples and grapes are predicted to increase by traders. So due to this inflation, common people will have to put more money in their pocket to buy vegetables and fruits.
