Massive march by Hindu organizations in support of name change; Demand for anti-cow slaughter, anti-conversion laws

Hindu Garjana Morcha in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In support of changing the name of Aurangabad to Sambhajinagar, today various Hindu organizations took out a massive march in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Despite the police not giving permission, a large number of people have supported the decision to change the name by participating in the protest. The Hindu Garjana Morcha has started from Kranti Chowk in the city and hundreds of protesters including political leaders have participated in it. Earlier, MIM MP Imtiaz Jalil went on a hunger strike against the name change. After that, Hindu organizations have taken out a massive march against the movement of MIM. Therefore, the political atmosphere of the state is likely to be heated over the name change issue.

In the march taken out from Kranti Chowk in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the protesters have demanded a ban on cow slaughter, ban on love jihad and religious conversion. The protesters have also demanded that this law be implemented in Maharashtra immediately. It is being told that the march will be dispersed near the statue of Mahatma Phule in Aurangpura, starting from Kranti Chowk. Heavy police has been deployed in many parts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in the wake of the Hindu Garjana Morcha. Apart from this, around 400 police personnel including Deputy Commissioners have been deployed.

Ambadas Danve has alleged that many people are doing politics under the guise of march and they are trying to create riots in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
