Making ‘reels’ on mobile is life threatening.. Youth dies due to drowning in Bhama Askhed Dam

at present Making ‘reels’ on mobile and uploading to social media has become a hobby. Likes are associated with reputation on social media. Due to this, youth and children are risking their lives to make reels. Many accidents are happening due to this. Now an accident has happened in Karanjevihere village of Bhama Asadhad Dam area. An incident of drowning of a young man while making ‘reels’ has come to light.

The deceased youth has been identified as Datta Bharti (age 24 years, currently Walla Walla, originally from Beed). The incident took place on Saturday afternoon. Datta, a resident of Varle village, and his three friends had gone to Bhama Askhed Dam area in Karanjvihir area. Four friends sat on the bank of the embankment and drank alcohol. Dutta then stopped at the dam bank and tried to make ‘reels’ on the mobile.

Dutta lost his balance while making reels on his mobile and fell into the dam. When his friends saw this, they shouted for help. None of the four could swim. Dutta died after drowning in the dam water. As soon as the police of Thana Mehlunge got the information about this incident, they reached the spot and took the body of the young man out of the water of the dam.
