Jitendra Avhad on Sanatan Dharma: Dhirendra Shastri, who made controversial statements about Sant Tukaram Maharaj, has organized a Brahm Darbar program at Mumbai’s Mira Road. NCP leader Jitendra Awad has described Sanatan Dharma advocated by Dhirendra Maharaj as a pest to the country, asking why his program was allowed when he was accused of spreading superstition. Awad has also said that the Athrapgarh castes of the state need to think that this pest does not spread to Maharashtra. Therefore, there is a possibility of sparking a new controversy due to Jitendra Awadh’s statement.

Speaking to the media in Mumbai, NCP leader and former minister Jitendra Awad said that Sanatan Dharma is trying to come back through the back door. Everyone should think how much change Shahu-Phule and Ambedkar brought in the society. Dhirendra Shastri is being invited to Mumbai and his meetings are being held. This is our misfortune. In fact, Jitinder Awad has said that Sanatan Dharma is the pest of the country. Sanatan Dharma is different from Hinduism. This Sanatan religion enforced caste system in India for more than five thousand years. Jatinder Awad also alleged that Sanatan Dharma has done the work of depriving 95 to 97 percent of the society here from education.

Many people including Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, Shripad Dange fought against Sanatan Dharma. Many Brahmins in the state fought against Brahminism. That is why Jitendra Awad has said that the Atharpgarh castes of the state need to think about it.
