Gadchiroli: A minor girl died due to lightning while returning from school

Gadchiroli Lightning News Today: Kala has attacked a girl on her way home from school. A case of unfortunate death of a girl studying in ninth standard has come to light. This incident is from Malerchak village of Yavatmal district. The deceased girl’s name is Sweety Somankar. Sweety was returning home from school around 10:30 in the morning. At that time this unfortunate incident happened. The entire Yavatmal district including Chamorshi is in mourning due to this incident. Since last week, many parts of the state have been experiencing heavy rains along with lightning. Because of this, lightning strikes have also occurred in many places.

According to the information received, the girl Sweety Somankar, who was going home after school in Malerchak of Chamorshi taluk of Yavatmal district, was suddenly struck by lightning. Sweety fell on the road due to lightning. As soon as the information of this incident was received, the people of the vicinity reached the spot. After this, Sweety was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but died before then. Many people have expressed grief after the incident of the death of a school girl due to sky lightning.
