Mumbai Traffic Police: A shocking incident has come to light in Mumbai where a drunk driver assaulted a traffic policeman. A traffic policeman was beaten up after questioning a motorist for violating traffic rules. A case of assaulting a traffic police officer has been registered and the Kurla police have arrested a 53-year-old man in this case.

A video of the beating of a policeman is currently going viral on social media and it is clearly seen that a person is beating up a traffic policeman on duty. The incident took place near Kurla (West) Depot Signal. The biker who attacked has been identified as Khalid Ishaq Wasaikar (age 53).

A crowd of people can be seen beating up the two-wheeler drivers of the traffic police. But no one tried to stop the person. After watching the video of the beating of the policeman, the netizens are getting angry reactions.

According to the police, Khalid Ishaq Wasaikar was driving a scooter after breaking the signal and escaped. But he was caught by the traffic constable. While demanding an answer, Khalid grabbed the collar of the traffic policeman and abused him. Khalid shouted and gathered a crowd of people on the spot. Meanwhile, two other unidentified persons from the crowd present at the spot started to push the traffic police and one of them threatened the police constable in his ear. All this has been caught on camera and a case has been registered in Kurla police station under section 353, 332, 504, 506 of IPC.
